Our Company History
Elshark for rubber rolls Kamal Mohamed Dorgham was established by Mr Kamal Mohamed Dorgham since 1945 and since that time our job is producing best quality rubber rolls with standard specifications and long service life dealing with the biggest printing houses in Egypt.
Mr Kamal M.Dorgham with his best quality rubber rolls gained the customers satisfaction and trust now Dorgham`s rubber rolls means quality rubber rolls lasting long in the machine providing best results.
At first the factory was located in Cairo but for enlargment reasons and to fulfil the continuous demond we erected another factory in 10Th of Ramadan.
We have been in business since 1945, and we apply this experience blended with quality raw materials supported by science to satisfy our customer needs.
We have the capabilities to custom-build a rubber roll to meet your specific requirements.
Material Of Construction For Off-set Printing Rolls
High-viscosity rubber for especially soft printing rollers are designed with Dorgham compounded polymers.
The rollers used in printing presses are not just there to exert pressure.
The high plasticizer content in particular is tough on the elastomers - during everyday use under high dynamic stress and in the presence of solvents.
But help is at hand in the form of the Dorgham compounded rubbers.
Thanks to their physical properties, these rubbers simplify the task of producing extremely soft roller coatings with constant elasticity and dimensional stability over the long term.
Dorgham rubber rolls can not be at risk from dramatic dimensional changes - since plasticizers can not be washed out by the printing inks containing oil and also plasticizers or dissolved away by detergents.
The result is excellent print quality, coupled with economical printing costs due to the minimum adjustments that have to be made to the inking system.
This is very important, since roller coatings for use in the printing industry need to be absolutely homogenous.
Dorgham rubber rolls coatings are elastic and resistant to abrasion and dynamic stiffening and have good wetting properties.
Other impressive properties include their excellent dimensional stability in the presence of plasticizers and solvents: the long elastomer molecules effectively counteract the diffusion of the small plasticizer molecules, whilst the polar elastomer groups in the rubber prevent any non-polar dye components from penetrating the press, which would lead to substantial swelling of the material with "simple" rubber grades.
